Richard is a chartered engineer with over 25 years of experience in the civil engineering industry. He joined VolkerFitzpatrick in March 1990, progressing steadily through the ranks, from an engineer to managing director. He was appointed to the role of chief operating officer of VolkerWessels UK, before taking up his current role as chief executive officer on 1 August 2022.
Anita has over 20 years of industry experience and was appointed CFO in 2023, after previously occupying the role of Finance Director at VolkerFitzpatrick. Anita has experience in a wide range of finance roles, specifically in the construction and infrastructure sector, as well as taking responsibility for functions such as procurement and IT.
A member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Anita joined the business from Kier, where she gained experience across a number of large-scale projects such as Crossrail, HS2 and international projects such as Dubai’s EXPO and Bluewater projects.
